Inspiring

Looks like Governor Abbot of Texas ain't playin'.

The failure of the Biden Administration to fulfill the duties imposed by Article IV, sec. 4 has triggered Article I, sec. 10, Clause 3, which reserves to this State the right of self-defense. For these reasons, I have already declared an invasion under Article I, sec. 10, Clause 3 to invoke Texas's constitutional authority to defend and protect itself. That authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary. The Texas National Guard, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and other Texas personnel are acting on that authority, as well as state law, to secure the Texas border.

Well, Joe Biden, you going to send those F-16s in now? We'll see if Texas holds out; they have been known to do that sort of thing.

Meanwhile...

  1. Should be interesting.
I just wish Kari Lake had beaten the steal because you know she'd be right there with him.
Instead of the current cheater who keeps doing tranny crap by executive fiat.

  2. I still can't understand how Katie Hobbs got in, even with a steal (that must have been a particularly massive exercise in vote larceny). She's about as repugnant as a politician gets.

  3. What's heartening is that the governors of some other states are supporting Governor Abbot. Red states, of course, but still. This may grow into a trend whereby the federal government gets a good beat-down.

  4. She ran the election and threatened to jail anybody who disputed it.

  5. Go Governor Abbott! Glad to be a newish Texan! Now if he'd only up the game by building a unbreachable wall. Until that happens, increase the size of the area, and add more strands everywhere. Some of the Lefty cities like Chicago would probably approve because they're waking up to the consequences of their sanctuary city status.
