Any. Time. "Angry leftists threaten to go after conservatives in their homes, churches if GOP wins in 2024".
“We need to go find out where they live, where they go to church, who they hang around with, and birddog they (sic) a—-,” one activist declared to the crowd.Well, Demosthenes, thank you for that eloquent warning. See you when.
They might be surprised in a very unpleasant way if they do that.
ReplyDeleteNot looking forward to the current cold civil war turning hot. Because whoever wins, we'll all lose.
ReplyDeleteBecause whoever wins, we'll all lose.
ReplyDeleteThat may be true, but we just have to make sure they lose harder.
Trump did get a slow start, I don't think he thought he would win, the polls all had Hillary as president as a certainty; then after winning lots of people joined 'the resistance;'
ReplyDeleteRep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., is quoted as saying: "If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere."
That made it hard to attract people into the positions, but he had help nominating judges; this group will be a helpful part of process if he wins;
I expect a repeat of 'the resistance' and firey, but mostly peaceful demonstrations that we saw, including on inauguration day, but maybe right after the election results are released and continuing for some time; if it takes place in blue cities like last time it's much less like a civil war than just self abuse, and conservatives will mostly be spared.
If they want to fire their own shithole cities, and the local governments won't do anything about it, fine by me.
