If I ever commit a crime, I'll just plead the Biden rule: "Special Counsel Robert Hur will not charge President Joe Biden for his handling of classified documents but included stunning revelations in his report of the deterioration of Biden’s mental state that are perhaps more politically damning."
If Biden had been an Inuit back in the old days, the tribe would now be preparing to abandon him on an ice flow to die. Looks as if the donks are going to have to do the political equivalent pretty soon.
Vincent "the Chin" Gigante was the boss of the Genovese family in NYC and avoided the Feds for years by pretending to be demented. He wandered around in public wearing a bathrobe and acted like... well, like Joe Biden does now. Took years for the Feds to piece together the real story.
ReplyDeleteIn this case the Feds are in on the con.
Are they still trying to convince us that Trump's more senile than Biden, or was that yesterday's narrative?
ReplyDeleteIf "...a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory” works to keep Biden from trial, why not Trump, too?
Rinardman, the last I looked the prevailing narrative was that Trump has syphilis. Because something about his hands.
ReplyDeleteThe theory in some circles is that Joe will be replaced by Former First Lady Mooch. Who has always struck me as having Rudd-like abilities to PO everyone in the room.
ReplyDeleteApart from that, there's the question of how gracefully the Bidens will accept the shove and depart. Not gracefully at all would be my expectation. Which could leave the Dems fighting an internal war while Trump continues to leave his rivals in the dust.
Another interesting year ahead. I'm ready for a few non-interesting years myself. A rerun of the 1990s has a lot of appeal.
