  1. That was kind of my attitude to Super Bowl Weekend.

  2. I won 50$ on the under on the first tv shot of Taylor Swift and 20$ on the color of her outfit.
I did lose $15 on her showing cleavage.

  3. Who do you mean by "Whatshername?"

    Taylor Swift, or Nikki Haley?

  5. Oh, one thing I did learn checking a couple of posts here and there on other blogs: Travis Kelce really does appear to be an a$$hole.

  6. Did the kid who insulted two races at once show up, and did he insult both of'em again?

  7. He showed up R-man. His family wore black and red facepaint, but he wore red, white and yellow this time:

  8. It's a young world of sameness. It's boring because it all seems same: every football team, every 'song', every movie, every celebrity...

In our youth, the old folks never found the emerging culture boring or predictable, although by the late 1970s things were pretty routine, and then came the 1980s. Everyone struggled just to keep up, now it's an effort to sustain interest.

  9. Yeah, as I get older it's hard for me to keep it up, too.
My interest, I mean. I no longer have any interest in a lot of things I used to spend a lot of time on. Fortunately, I'm an introvert, so it's easy for me to hide myself away and ignore the noisy crowds most of the time.

  10. You did miss one commercial totally not worth seeing.
Wicked, 'based on' the Wizard of Oz.
The Wicked Witch of the West is a good guy, they repeatedly showed her holding hands with Dorothy, who I think is, Surprise!, black.
I don't know if they were lovers, but it surely looked implied.
I hope it loses 99% of however much it cost to make.

    1. Wicked is a famous musical that tells the pre-Wizard of Oz story of how the witches became who they are. Dorothy does not appear in it. We saw it twice in Los Angeles at the Pantages. It's one of our favorites.

I hope they haven't screwed it up. The movie has been in the works for a long time, and now seems to be getting closer to release. We shall see.
