Step inside Carmen Herrera’s latest exhibition at Lisson Gallery. The show focuses on her paintings on paper, while the rest of the tour highlights different compositions (including the less common tri-color pieces!) and touches on symmetry and how it affects the ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ pic.twitter.com/GcgocJ4uXe

I would not be surprised to learn that the paintings, which look like nautical signal flags, spell out the word "Sucker!"

An incredible work because it is in... TWO COLORS!!!
Oh. Mai. GAWD! That is just in-freakin'-sane!
The first installation looks like a oversized paper bag. Well, it's better than the Piss Christ.
Those "paintings" look like a 5th grader was playing with paper, scissors, and drafting triangles. With some paste thrown in.
I suspect Carmen ate the paste while working on her "art".
As the old saying goes, I know what I like, and I ain't seeing it.
The bit that gets me is the enthusiasm of the girl.
"she gets a smooth finish by taping the edges and using a roller".
Sorta like the walls in my house.

Haw! Didn't know you were living in an art gallery, did you, Mick?
Didn't I see a similar art gallery tour and commentary on an old Monty Python episode?
Only with better art.
You just need to convince the right person it's art and ladder-climbing fools will buy it.
These days, art is just another word for money laundering. SEE, Wallpaper Art, Hunter Biden.
