One last word on the Uncle Bosey non-incident: "'They wouldn't just eat any white men that fell from the sky': Outraged Papua New Guinea academics lash out at Biden's 'unacceptable' suggestion that cannibals ate his WW2 pilot uncle".
Haw! So, Uncle Bosie would have been the equivalent of road kill, eh?
The headline gets one thing wrong, I believe; I don't think Biden's uncle was actually a pilot, was he? I read somewhere that he was a member of the ground crew who just happened to be on the plane that day. Correct me if I'm wrong (I don't want to do a disservice to an honorable man who's already had a bucket-load of disservice heaped on him by his own nephew, who concocted this preposterous story).
I understand that he was ground crew, and ordnance officer, and was aboard the flight as a courier.
ReplyDeleteAs I note in a post below, there's nothing wrong of dubious about the man's service, and it insults him and other service members to create BS embellishments to his story. But this is the pattern to Biden's lies, they're all about his own self aggrandizement, a way to center himself in the story.
I used to think Bill Clinton was bad when it came to sucking all the oxygen out of the room. But then came Obama, who had to dominate every narrative and every gathering. As somebody remarked, he had to be the bride at every wedding and the corpse at every funeral.
But Biden is a whole 'nother category of shamelessness. I think that he is constitutionally incapable of telling the truth, and also incapable of not weaving his own narrative into everything.
I've got Alex Marlow's book Breaking Biden waiting on the shelf. I'm going to have to read it soon, just to quell my curiosity as to whether Joe is a black sheep or the whole damn clan were liars and frauds.
ReplyDeleteThere was plenty of cannibalism happening in New Guinea during WW2 but it was the Japanese doing all the eating. The locals were overwhemingly on the allied side and saved thousands of Australian and US troops by carrying the wounded over the worst terrain imaginable. They were called Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels by the troops.
ReplyDeleteBiden manages to offend everyone everywhere he goes.
Most likely, Biden knew what was a lie, and what was true before his dementia. Now, because he told them so often, the lies are all that's left in his addled brain.
ReplyDeleteAfter Dirty Old Joe carks it, neuroscientists should dissect his brain in hopes of finding out what prompted him to do and say the things he did, because none of it makes any sense at all to normal people. Even his obvious dementia doesn't explain it all. What possible point could a person make by telling the world cannibals ate his uncle during WWII?
