I am reminded of the scene in Good Morning Vietnam where, after Adrian Cronauer's (Robin Williams) suspension, Lt. Lt. Hauk (Bruno Kirby) takes his on air slot. He proceeds to deliver a painfully inept "comedy" routine in front of the horrified staff, and after signing off for a break, turns smugly to that staff and says
