Can we turn the clocks back to 1960, and get a do-over?
ReplyDeleteAs for myself, I'd be more than happy to ditch the whole "spring forward, fall back" nonsense and keep the country in the same time zones all year.
ReplyDeleteWhenever I bring that up, somebody brightly says "But it's for the faaaaarmers!" to which I scoff. "Scoff, scoff," say I, haughtily. Farmers don't work by the clock. They work when they need to work regardless of what the clock says.
Old Paco always said he hated Daylight Savings Time because that extra hour of sunshine burned the grass.
