"Tillis Flips Off Trump, Announces Opposition to U.S. Attorney for D.C. Nominee Ed Martin"
...Tillis explained to a gaggle of reporters including CNN’s Manu Raju Tuesday that “most of my concerns related to January 6.”
“We have to be very, very clear that what happened on January the sixth was wrong,” Tillis said, indicating he disagreed with Martin’s decision to pardon all those who entered the Capitol that day.
So this uniparty dishrag would rather see Soviet Judge Boasberg name the next U.S. Attorney for D.C. - a distinct possibility - than vote for a guy who sought to make up for the obscene abuse of due process by leftist judges and a politicized FBI by doing the humane thing and freeing these non-violent prisoners.
I've already advised the senator that this move is completely disqualifying as far as support from me is concerned, and that I - and my blog - will be dogging his steps all the way to the next election with tales of his pusillanimity and betrayal. I didn't mention that my followers only number about a dozen, and most do not reside in North Carolina, but he doesn't need to know that.

Je suis North Carolinan!
ReplyDeleteThe GOP fights Trump, and 'their'base, harder than they fight the Dems.
Heck, they fight us harder than the Dems do.
Raise your right hand and say, "Yee Haw!"
ReplyDeleteYou are now an honorary North Carolinian, possessing all the rights and privileges appertaining thereunto.
I dunno, Paco.
ReplyDeleteDon't you think there's a good chance he'll think 'pusillanimity' is a compliment?
You could tell him I don't live there, but I have family that live there; and I think I could sway their vote, if push comes to shove.
"And furthermore, Senator Tillis, the savage hordes of rinardmankind, roaming North Carolina in their thousands, are beating their drums in anticipation of going to war against you. Beware the cessation of those drums, Senator, for it is then that they will fall upon your candidacy like wolves upon the fold!"
DeleteYeah! Exactly what I was trying to say.
DeleteOr...words to that effect.
Well, I don’t live in NC now, but we spent four years there while Mr. H was stationed at Fort Bragg, and my son was born there (I’m glad they changed the name back). I wish I could vote to primary that obstructionist old fool Tillis. This Jan6 bovine excrement needs to stop.
ReplyDelete"And last but not least, Senator Tillis, the Army has weighed you and found you wanting in the kind of martial prowess required to engage and defeat the commiecrats in this hour of national peril!"
DeleteI live in North Carolina and I emailed a rather terse incentive to do the right thing. All to no avail. There will be a primary challenger. Maybe Paco?
ReplyDeleteGood for you, A&A! Maybe if the guy's staffers can show him that he's bucking the tide, he'll change his mind.
DeleteAs to the possibility of a Paco candidacy, I'll quote Old Paco as I have several times in the past: the only thing I ever ran for was the county line.
I live in NC, and will absolutely do whatever I can to make sure Tillis isn’t reelected!
Delete*which isn't much beyond an indignant phone call and not voting for him, but still.
That's ok. Do whatever you can.
DeleteI just had a thought
ReplyDeleteThis might have been better illustrated with a pic of McCain.
