But will this guy's radicalism actually move the needle in "progressive" New York City?

"Jewish Democrats Have a Bad Feeling About This".

The guy is a Marxist and a Shi'a Twelver, an aficionado of rap and an advocate of government-run grocery stores and empty jails. If someone were to conjure up a novel based on a character like this, I bet every publisher in town would reject it because of the sheer absurdity of its premise.

Seriously, I think I'd have an easier time relating to Watusi cattlemen or reindeer herders in Lapland than to the average New Yorker, these days.

A common criticisms of Ayn Rand is that her characters are not realistic. Her heroes are just too pure and noble, and her villains are nearly cartoonish.

And them here in real life, we see people like Mamdani show up. Which comic book did he escape from? Or Klaus Schwab - is there a Bond film missing its villain?

    1. Indeed.

The thought that you cannot parody the left is very true.

  2. Everybody should be concerned about Mamdani. Everybody should be concerned that a totalitarian even got this far.
