Now, the main reason I'm linking this is because it gives me a chance to mention something that Ace of Spades said recently. I don't know if it's true, or if it's just Ace being funny, but it certainly ought to be true. Ace said the only reason Al Green got elected was because his dumb constituents thought he was Al Green the singer. This is absolutely plausible.
I have to admit, I didn't know who Al Green, the singer, is. He sounds a lot more intelligent than Al "Caveman" Green.
ReplyDeleteAdmittedly, that's not a high bar. But it does indicate that his constituents are indeed dumb.
When I first heard of Al Green the politician, I did a double take, thinking he was also the singer. I was afraid another good entertainer had turned to the dark side, and was relieved when I found out it was someone else.
