Not Your Grandmother's Snow Globe

The delightfully named Dog Fight at Bankstown links to some unique snow globes (also, don't miss the taxidermy museum).

Wow. Interesting stuff. Snow globes and taxidermy as art. Who knew? The taxidermy I can do without, but now I'm seriously contemplating trying to find the materials to make your own snow globes.

They must be all the rage at the moment. Look how you win a $40,000 art prize in Australia these days.

Rebecca: How about a snow-covered scene featuring a plastic Al Gore bawling global-warming nonsense at a crowd of the shivering faithful?

Okay, the giant spider globe is creepy as all get-out, but I have to admit major disappointment at not seeing one with Rosebud.

These so-called "artists" have revealed a horrifying cultural ignorance.

TW: eyeop. Kind of Winnie the Pooh-ish, huh?
