Son of Offline

Sorry, but the computer's still in the shop, plus a host of Paco family fires (I use the expression figuratively) have sprung up which I am trying to stamp out. The great open thread continues.

Metaphorical fires, but literal stamping?

Hopefully nothing serious, Paco.

Get your life in order, old chap. You do have responsibilities, you know.

Now I will simply bang on my high chair until the free ice cream flows again.

tw: pyrovil Well, it sure sounds like something that might help with a fire. Unless it's for starting one...

Just remember, Paco, when life gives you lemons... throw them at passersby. Why should you be the only one having a hard time?

Take your time. Get everything you need to get done completed. We are having a great time. It sorta reminds me of old Blair. I really miss that place.

O'k that's it someone track down that mead, Paco needs a glass or two to help stamp out those "fires".
Reading a fairly good book at the moment by R.B. Dominic [also known as Emma Latham], The Attending Physician, which I was able to get through Amazon. Recommend it.
How is that Yojimbo?

If it has a bunch of pictures I'll buy it. I have problems with all those written concepts and such. It's genetic.:)

As far as I'm concerned, 2011 so far is proving to be an evil year. Hope everything is OK, Paco.

Heh, no pictures Yojimbo, but the detective [of sorts] is [wait for it] a Democrat [who has friends in the Republicans, did I spell that right] from Ohio.

How long does it take a couple of technicians to unjam a coffee cup from the CD player?

BoB -- Imagine the newbie tech's surprise that DEL *.* still works under Windows.

DO NOT TRY THIS

Rumor has it that Paco is really up in Madison, WI, protesting Governor Walker's budget fix bill.

Remember, Paco, the Trog knows what you look like!

OH-OH..

Ms. Althouse rumor has it that nattily attired, dark haired, well spoken gentleman that goes by the nom de guerre of Paco, in your neck of the woods.

He means no REAL harm, BUT..

Umm, best way to determine if it is in fact Mr. Paco is, search his vehicle trunk. He will be driving a 1949 Packard. If you find several dozen cheap knock off sets of Ginsu Knives®, that's him.

Althouse works at the university, but the Trog works in the capitol building. He has been going out on an upper floor balcony with binoculars and looking for troublemakers. (No truth to the rumor that he has been peeing on the crowd below and yelling, "It's raining, it's raining!")

The surrounding streets are closed so the Packard has to be parked pretty far away. Good thing 'cause it would probably be rolled over and set on fire by now.

Good God, THAT bad is it?

Guess that's what happens when the Community Organizer-in-Chief gives his blessings for a counter-offensive.... "an assault on unions". AND offensive it is.
