"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
What a strange incoherent article from the Guardian.
ReplyDeleteThe 'lefties' are aghast at 'Corporatism', but fail to see that it is their own shadow.
" advocated genuine reform of the corporatism that now rules the economy and government"
Genuine reform of ruling corporatism involves shutting down 90% of federal govt departments.
Greens scream for more corporatism to achieve their authoritarian ends, then whinge about corporatism. Sick.
Oh, the article, itself, is quite worthless. I couldn't resist the interrogative title, however, and the notion that Barr might actually make the Party "break out" with something.
ReplyDeleteI don't say enough how much I enjoy the things you put up here, Paco. You spot stuff I would never see, ironic twists , which enable us to get a laugh out of the craziness around us.
ReplyDeleteThanx muchly old fellow!
Ew! Ew! Ew!
ReplyDelete*hops up and down, flapping hands*
That is an image I can do without!
She'd probably be the most substantial candidate, Barr none.
ReplyDeleteCheers
She puts the hefty in heifer?
ReplyDeleteCheers
Bruce: De nada, amigo!
ReplyDeleteNot really O/T.
ReplyDeleteWhitney Houston has died at only age 48. She will always be remembered for that absolutely great rendition of the National Anthem at Super Bowl XXV just after the start of the Gulf War.
Juxtapose that against the horrible mockery of a renditon that this woman did.
