Update: Ok, the timing of Petraeus' resignation was not a coincidence:
[T]he White House, with concurrence by the FBI and Justice Department, held off on asking for Petraeus’ resignation until after the election. His resignation occurred three days after the election, avoiding the possibility that Obama’s ill-fated appointment of Petraeus could become an issue in the election.
FBI agents on the case were aware that such a decision had been made to hold off on forcing him out until after the election and were outraged.
“The decision was made to delay the resignation apparently to avoid potential embarrassment to the president before the election,” an FBI source says. “To leave him in such a sensitive position where he was vulnerable to potential blackmail for months compromised our security and is inexcusable.”
At least as detrimental to our country as Obama's incompetent economic and foreign policy initiatives is the thoroughgoing corruption of the people in his administration who are making a mockery of both the law and our national security. Jarrett, Holder, Napolitano, Geithner and now, it pains me to say, Petraeus.
Deborah Leigh said...I'm sure it was a fair election, The state that gave us Senator Al Franken wouldn't cheat, nor would the one where the New Black Panther Party was "overseeing" , and definitely not the folks who just legalized a "Rocky Mountain High". So if those folks didn't...ya know...then the others wouldn't. Right? The UN observers would have told us.
ReplyDelete13 Philly districts voted 90% for Obama. Just coincidentally, those were the districts where the GOP poll watchers were forced out.
ReplyDeleteAre those the same districts that reported 115% turnout in 2008?
ReplyDeleteYeah. In fact, I was reading somewhere that the turnout was even higher in some places.
ReplyDeleteNothing suspicious there. Move along.
ReplyDeleteo_O
Speaking of places with more voters than people...

Kewl. Chicago Politics™ IS national.
Sheesh. In just ONE county in Florida, the excess votes to registered voters was twice the amount needed to throw the state to Obama. Romney is the President.
ReplyDeleteThis guy is behaving more like his pal Chavez every day
ReplyDeleteRobert,
ReplyDeleteNo kidding. Next up: repealing the 22nd Amendment. That would be just effin' hilarious.
With the UN Small Arms Treaty set to void the 2nd Amendment, I wonder what sort of "necessary" restrictions will be placed on the 1st...
