Barack Obama, Doctor of Divinity

In a recent speech, Barry quoted that famous line from the Bible about not throwing stones at glass houses. Oh, wait...

Here are some other Bible verses the Reverend Obama may want to use going forward:

Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

Measure twice, cut once.

Keep your powder dry.

If you drink, don't drive.

A woman is only a woman, but a good cigar is a smoke.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Yeah, Jesus was born in Bethlehem after Joseph and Mary were summoned there to be counted, registered, and taxed. Then the political leader tried to kill the baby so Joseph, et al. had to flee to Egypt. What can we learn from this Mr. President?

Don't forget "A stitch in time saves nine". Something President Bloviator-in-Chief could apply to his foreign policy, if he were capable of such a thing.

Hey, you're right. You don't have to prove you're not a robot to post a comment.

Robert: it's like one of the corrupt officers in Catch 22 said at one point: "Don't worry. It's all part of the deal!"

It'd be nice if he did get some actual Biblical quotes right AND followed them. Such as:

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you

Let your yes be yes and your no be no

Thou shalt not covet

Thou shalt not steal

Judge not, lest thou be judged

There're plenty of others, but lets just start with some basics for now

I always thought those were from Stuff Jefferson Said not the Bible.

You learn something new every day I guess.
