The right decision

My favorite Democrat has just become my favorite ex-Democrat: "Tulsi Gabbard Announces She’s Leaving the Democratic Party".

I don't know what her future political prospects are, if any, but I wish her well.

  1. Wherever she ends up, she's a bad fit for the Republicans. We don't need another RINO. But a true Independent, and not a socialist marching lockstep with the Dems (Like Sanders or AOC) would be a welcome change.

Who knows, she might take a look at libertarianism (note the little "L") and find a place there. Or she could replace Juan Williams as one of Fox's lefties. At least she's an honest one and not a party hack.

  2. She should have left a long time ago. Better late than never. Hope she didn't bring any Democrat baggage with her. We don't need another RINO.

  3. No, the Republicans don't need a net increase in RINOs; but I'd be alright with an exchange that didn't increase the net RINO figure (e.g., we trade Romney to the Democrats for Gabbard).

  4. A lot of the Dimocrats are pretending that it doesn't bother them. But you know they're thinking "If she's leaving because she's fed up, how many of our voters are fed up, too."

Just knowing it bothers a lot of them, it's good to see, no matter what she does now.

  5. Didn't the Dems accuse her of being a Russian agent?
    Yes, yes she was.
So rank and file Dems can be secure in their knowledge that she isn't principled, she's just a Russian agent trying to hack the election(tm)!!!!!!!

Being a lefty means never have to face your failures.
