Of course Hillary's health is a legitimate issue

Wes Pruden begs to differ from those who argue that questions about Hillary Clinton's health represent part of a "conspiracy":
The questions the Hillary campaign are trying to put off limits now are the legitimate questions about Hillary’s health. She has a well-documented record of coughing fits, fainting, stumbling up and down stairs, and uncontrolled giggling and snorting at inappropriate times. There may be good and sufficient reasons for all that, but it’s not against anybody’s rules to ask what they are.
Well, it does seem to be against the highly selective etiquette of liberal reporting, but that's another story.

The proliferation of informal power groups

A really interesting piece by Richard Hernandez, dealing with growing factionalism in America, and factionalism's curious links to increasing governmental incompetence. A sample:
Moreover, the American factional system operates in the worst possible way. The Clinton Foundation and private email scandal is a portrait of venality without competence. The peculiar characteristics of American factionalism have bred something singular; a phenomenon at once cunning yet stupid, both corrupt and inept. America is no longer exceptional, just another bum in the ring.

The DC government can't seem to do much about the city's murder rate...

...but they've really shut the door on littering: "Toddler’s littering citation dropped".

Week's best news bloopers (rural fellow describing a bee attack highly recommended at around 9:06 minutes).
