How do you think his minders are going to get him out of the debates? I think Nancy Pelosi tried to float the notion that they're not necessary because, you know, Trump, but I don't really think that will fly with the voters; however, maybe they'll just have to run with that, because there's no way Biden can survive a debate, and any excuse at all, or even no excuse, is better than having him get on the same stage with Trump (or, for that matter, appearing in a remote, split-screen setting with him).

His sign language interpreter has a nightmare job.
Haw! I saw the guy in one video, and the whole thing was hilarious, as the interpreter kept "erasing" what he had been signing.
Before the first debate Slow Joe's handlers will announce that he has tested positive for COVID-19 but with no ill effects, therefore he will need to do a Zoom debate (where he can have his teleprompter and ear piece to pull him thru it).
Pretty straightforward, in fact. Announce the venue with much fanfare and hoopla.
Day prior, massive mob attacks, smashes windows, sets fires, assaults bystanders, maybe burns some cop cars. No choice but to cancel.
And of course, deplore the violence - due, obviously, to Trump's divisive rhetoric.
