First time I heard "If you want to know what the Left is doing, listen to what they accuse you of" I thought it was glib and simplistic.
No longer. And here is Exhibit Two Zillion: nobody on the Right talks like that about our troops. I have heard the Left say those things, and far worse, all my adult life. Whites enlist because they're stupid racists who can't get into college or land a good job, and want to rape and murder black and brown people. Minorities enlist because theyre last chancers and no hopers, locked out of opportunities by a racist society, so signing up is the only way to get a paycheck.
Goldberg and his circle all talk that way, and so like all bubble dwellers they assume that everybody does - save those mouth breathing morons in flyover country who drive pickups and wear MAGA hats.
If Trump were a Democrat he could say that and the only people who would be upset would be conservatives.
Which is why the Atlantic lied about it.
It's funny how Trump called the press enemies of the people and Pelosi called Americans enemies of the State (at least, her version of it), and they were both right.
I didn't believe it when I read it, first because Trump loves and respects America and the people who serve her, and second because this is the kind of feces Democrats like to throw at the wall to see if it will stick.

I don't believe anything any democrat or 'media person' says or writes. Notice I did not use the term 'reporter' - because they aren't. Mouthpieces, puppets, who have Journalism degrees, but they are not Reporters.
President Trump would not do this. Only ungrateful pigs (with apologies to the barnyard animal) would say such a thing.
