Assortment

There's one born every minute. Who in his right mind would actually pay to read a Tweet, however "premium" it might be?

Bingo, Doctor! Ben Carson: "‘Child Abuse’ to Prey on Children’s Curiosity with Transgender Ideology".

Closely related:

The life and times of Titania McGrath.

Wow! Who knew? (Well, you guys might have, but I didn't). Alexander Solzhenitsyn's son is a Russian-American conductor and pianist. Jonathan Van Maren at First Things discusses Ignat Solzhenitsyn, exile and homecoming.

Mainstreaming insanity.

This looks to be an early test of Trump's continuing clout in the Republican Party: "Trump endorses Max Miller over incumbent GOP Rep. Anthony Gonzalez #OH16".

How about you take a polygraph test, Governor Cuomo?

Ah, so there was a connection between Titania and Godfrey Elfwick. I find that extremely gratifying.

Elfwick was banned, I think, because he was too spot on. He was always being quoted by earnest yet moronic left wing media (Looking at you, Grauniad) as a serious commentator. Because... it never occurs to the left that they are remotely ridiculous, and when they discover that they are being made fun of, it infuriates them. And when angry, they cannot simply ignore whoever is annoying them, they must go into Global Thermonuclear War mode.

An outstanding assessment, Steve, of the Left's tendency to take itself with unblinking seriousness.

Cuomo would pass any lie detector test, he immediately believes what he needs.

Yeah, I've heard that sociopaths who attach little or no importance to the difference between the truth and a lie sometimes ace polygraph tests.

Jeff: Possibly, he's going for the William Blackstone look - but I doubt it.

Thanks for the link to Helen Dale, like you Paco, she can write and think at the same time.
