This is what happens when citizens don't pay attention to politics at the local level

"Loudoun, Virginia Teachers Plot to 'Infiltrate' and 'Expose' and Use 'Hackers' to Silence Parents Who Object to Critical Race Theory".

To put this into context, Loudon County is one county over (west) from Fairfax County, where I used to live. It was, until relatively recent times, considered a reliably center-right county in terms of politics - certainly one of the more conservative counties in Northern Virginia. Now, over the course of the last ten years, as it has developed into an affluent bedroom community for Washington, D.C., filling up with bureaucrats, lobbyists, government lawyers and other lower life forms, it has become home to one of the most viciously left-wing ideological cadres of government employees (and their lefty affluent constituents) in the whole state - greatly helped along by the deadly hand of George Soros.

All politics is local, as the saying goes, and the Bolsheviks are not just active on the national stage. This is a lesson I think the normals in our country may well have learned too late.

  1. I read the article, and it looks to me like a coterie of liberal white women jumping on the woke bandwagon and trying to outdo each other in nastiness. I used to think my mother and aunts, being Southern Ladies, could not be outdone in politely slicing up their enemies, but these woke women are positively feral.

  2. Several problems with politics, as a process, that are endemic. One is that it's an area of endeavor that rewards psychopathic behavior. Two is that it attracts the sorts of people with limited talents but who yearn to fix everyone else's lives for them. In spite of themselves. And three, it's the sort of thing that normies can't be bothered with unless it gets right in their faces, because they are concentrating on their own lives.
