Classical corner
Here, from Gustav Holst's The Planets,
is “Mercury, the Winged Messenger”. I love this piece: you can
practically visualize Mercury zipping around the cosmos.
I'm listening to "Mars, The Bringer of War".
ReplyDeleteI first heard Holst when this piece was used in the soundtrack "The Right Stuff". I've enjoyed the album ever since.
It's a great composition.
