I've only got one Savage, but it's a winner. Model 12BVSS-S chambered in 22-250. Single shot stainless with a laminated stock and topped with a Nikon scope, and as accurate as the day is long. I had hoped to take it prairie dog hunting sometime, but never got the opportunity.
I have one Savage, a .22-.410 o/u. It's loverly. My dad got it when he was a kid. I've loved that gun since I was 7 when I first started going out with my father and uncle squirrel hunting. No, I wasn't shooting, I just wanted to go.
