I know the volume of people fleeing California is creating a huge demand for U-Haul trucks...
...but don't let the short-term lack of availability make you desperate, folks. Arizona, Texas and Florida are still going to be there next week.
The vast majority of transplanted Yankees in my neighborhood are conservative. The only overt Biden supporters were a couple who decamped shortly after the 2020 election.
There was a waiting list for moving truck rentals in 2013 when we happily relocated to Texas (near San Antonio) from North Hollywood, California. It's not surprising that the trend continues.
Using a moving truck to flee is a bit of on overkill. Hopefully, he won't relocate to our adopted state when he exists his current location.
As long as they leave California politics behind, they're welcome. Otherwise, don't come.

ReplyDeleteAfter all that, he ended up getting out of the truck and of all the directions he could go, he went in exactly the wrong direction.
