I come from a time and a place when black people truly were mistreated and oppressed. Young black people today (especially the ones who wail and gnash their teeth the most about racism) can not even imagine what things were like back then.
ReplyDeleteI second Rebecca.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it's fair to point that the level of sartorial elegance has dropped significantly across the board. Browsing through "People of Walmart" shows that beyond any shadow of doubt.
I just have two questions about the way the young black guys wear their pants.
ReplyDeleteWhy?
And as a skinny old man who has to wear a belt to keep his pants up in a normal position.
How?
I have the same questions. Plus
Deleteare there girls/women who think a guy is hot by the underwear he is exposing. It's funny to watch guys have to waddle somewhere in an attempt to hold their pants up. It's even funnier when they try to get away after shoplifting. Looters don't go for the prison look.
I have no idea how this awful style got started.
ReplyDeleteThe good thing, I suppose, is if they get up to mischief, they're not going to be able to effect a quick get-away.
No quick get aways, but a submission for America's Funniest Home Videos.
DeleteI thought the dude on the left was taking a leak and had rolled his shirt up so as not to get it wet. But it's fashion? Yeah why R man?
