I think for the last decade or more, Letterman has had the physical appearance, as well as the attitude, of some grumpy crank who wants to live off the grid.
Any bets on whether Biden misidentifies Letterman?
I saw a photo of "Dave" this morning and for a second I thought it was Professor Peter Schikele. Who I am sure was a Dem, but he never brought it up in his performances. I got Schikele's autograph - twice. Once was on the concert program, the other was in his Definitive Biography of P.D.Q. Bach.
The kids love Letterman! This'll be great!
