The Dardick

A very strange revolver that never caught on because...well, it malfunctioned a lot.  And whoever heard of triangular cartridges?

  1. That pistol seems to be a solution in search of a problem. Triangular cartridges? Wowsers -- manufacturing them might be a challenge.

Still ... ... original thinking, definitely out of the box. It just wasn't a viable design, apparently.

    But, hey!, cool logo.

    1. And the name "Dardick" seemed familiar (aside from the obvious juvenile connotations) ... ... and then it hit me ... ...

  2. Ian at Forgotten Weapons did a video on the Dardick. And one of the practical shooting channels, maybe TaoFliedermaus? tried 3D printing the triangular casings for those "trounds."

Another of those weird firearms tha sounds a lot better than it ends up in reality. Like the Gyrojet, of the H&K G11.
