Trypophobia is 'a strong fear of closely packed holes'. The cup, when it's filled, should behave rather like this. BTW, the book restoration video was excellent. I was going to share it at work, but without an adblocker it's preceded by a plug for our clueless PM and his party of twits. Sharing will have to wait a month or so.
